Australia / DAY 2

I swear they are crazy sometimes they woke us up a 6 !! I could barley believe it i was so out of it when they knocked at our door she asked us if we wanted to feed the kangaroos again very sadly we agreed of course and got out there and fed them.  She also pointed out that there were parrots just chillin like a villian out on the deck like cmon who can say that to someone ... only in australia lol Ken and Sue and there daughter had a whole day planned for us we went so many different waterfalls. 

Ya we are on top of a huge waterfall no bid deal ! It was incredible ! 

So where the landing is on the top of this waterfall is where we were in the above photo just laying there.  Such an amazing waterfalls ! and i love waterfalls !! so we saw a few more waterfalls similar to this one, then near the end of our hike to all these waterfalls Kristin took us to place where she said not many tourists know about this place so i thought it was just another waterfall but we come to this point where i could just make out what it is through the bush .......

and BAMM ! Paradise right here ! My dream is fulfilled ive always'd wanted to come across to a hidden lagoon and go swimming !! Good thing she showed us this, now this was CRAZY SILENT SEIZURES!! i felt like i was in LOST or something to bad there wasnt a swinging vine ! Now after all that craziness we went to this place it was called Illawarra Fly and what it is is that you go up on some kind of high bridge up in the canopy of the trees and just look out onto the view it was really cool ! we were really high already and they had spiral stairs up even higher to a lookout, just amazing !!  Just lovin' life right now !!

After that we went to this place, Famous Robertson Pie Shop so as the name says full of pies but not like our pies they have like any filling you want in it sooo weird i just got a meat pie thats the most common it was really good but really hot at the same time ! It was a very cute set up they had seating out in this like front garden type thing with a huge tree and loads of colorful flowers everywhere and annoying birds chirping everywhere ! oh there is this one bird no joke sounds literally like a dying baby sheep or something like and they are everywhere !! and so annoying. 

After that we went home and went canoeing in there forest of a backyard it was really fun to bad i suck a balance and we tipped as soon as we got in haha and then after that it was a total fail on my part.  Kristin said of all the times shes gone down there to canoe never once had she falling in ... oops lol guess there is always a first huh? And this is for you Lyndsey... you might want to stop reading now, just saying ..... when Cally came out of the water there was the hugest spider ever on her arm it was huge and had like pinky legs really creepy !! ..... okay you can keep reading now sorry about that.  After that we had dinner and had to wait till it was super dark to go on another hike, so we got our torches (flashlights) and went on a little hike down to these like cavey things i guess i couldnt see at all when we got near we turned our lights off and i just almost dropped dead it was the craziest thing i have ever seen most beautiful thing ever... Glow Worms... they were everywhere !! so there was a wall in front of us and like a little creek below us but pretty much everywhere you looked on this wall was covered with these small whitish lights of the worms we tried to get pics but its really hard to tell... 

ya you can barely tell there was way more than in this photo but you kinda get the idea of it a bit but it was amazing like straight out of a fairytale or something like if anyone wants to come here be sure to go see the glow worms defiantly worth while! And on our way back we so a possum in a tree so cool ! Then we headed back home and went straight to bed ! 

Australia / DAY 1

So there is the happy parents excited to get rid of us two.... now you think the parents were happy !! look at our faces !! haha

So Im going to get down to the needy greedy of things and skip all the plane stuff it was boring and long as you guys predicted all you guys need to know is that i got my seat stolen from me 2 out of the 3 flights we were on !! I know some peoples kids right !! 

Well so we eventually arrived in Sydney and they had a little beagle searching our bags i called it a puppy face under my breath it was so cute haha so we got out of that and we headed straight to McDonalds and no we weren't just starving our faces off and needed food thats the place Ken and Sue told us to meet them at. The only real problem we had was I totally forgot what he looked like completely, so we were wondering around McDonalds for a little while till someone was walking towards us and then i kinda knew it was him and it was ! Later we found out that he didnt even know who he was looking for either... so we were in the same boat.  

He picked us up and drove us a while to Berrima where hes daughter lived in this place like out in the wild sorta, and yes that is the best view from her house you cant really see her view but it was so nice and the best part is that its floor to ceiling windows... well almost to ceiling.  Oh and just before getting to her house he pulled over and let me drive !!!!! it was crazy i almost killed us just a little ! SILENT SEIZURE ! sorry but i promised Mark that i would have loads of them while im here so all these next ones are for you! love ya! We just got our bags into our room when we went out to see her baby kangaroos and yes i just said that! There was 3 and they are so cute like the cutest things ive ever seen ! I cant remember there names but they were weird ones, really australian lol They were just in her backyard enclosed in a cage. We played with them for a bit and then she took us to see... wait for it .... baby wombats ya i know it sounds pretty lame but they were really funny guys looked like little pigs kinda running around. 

So after that Kristin (Kens daughter) took us out for lunch to this Pub to get drunk !!! (totally kidding) and that is when i first tried fish ! because my parents and mark (its always mark haha ) told me to be brave about trying new food so i gave it a go and yes me, rachel tried fish i know it will be a challenge for those who know me so well to believe that i would eat anything like that but i did ! and then after that i tried calamari blahhhhhh it was okay i guess not !! Well im not going to go into to much detail on this or i would literally be here all day ive defiantly have loads more better stuff to do like pick up some guys on the beach or something like that lol After we came home we fed the baby animals that was so cute they are fast eaters. Then we went for a hike in there backyard literally it backs out onto like the jungle !! lol so we all went for a hike there it was soo beautiful. 

  

After we came home from that hike we sat at home and talked for a bit and had what they have everyday 'afternoon tea' which is just a snack and tea but us goody good girls refused the tea haha and then Jason, Kristins hub came home from work and then we decided to got out for another hike to this place where they always go which they call 'Picnic Point' so we ventured on out there it was a lovely place and on the way out there we so a platypus in the water i wild one ! it was so cool and i totally thought for the life of me platypus' were like a fairly decent sized animals but there totally not they are tiny the one in the river was soo tiny we could barely see it. So after we came home we had dinner out of the back deck over looking the beautiful sunset just breath taking !! and that dinner i defiantly tried another new item of food ... kangaroo !! it wasnt that bad at all it tasted like steak which we had too for dinner.  By now we were both dead tired but Kristin asked if we wanted to feed the kangaroos again and of course we couldnt pass that opportunity so we went out and fed them and then we had to feed the wombat we were like falling over we were so tired but finally finished and went to beddy bye !! That felt soo good !! So ya every long day we had but pulled through and got through it. So that was the end of that day.
